Greek history has been written through intense conflicts. However, what is usually barely touched upon in History books is how most of these conflicts pitted Greeks against Greeks.

Is infighting part of our mentality, or are we victims of the 'divide and conquer' tactic? Whatever the answer may be, from the successors of Alexander the Great to the fall of the dictatorship, and from the notorious disputes of the Byzantines to the civil wars of modern Greece, there is much to learn by observing how our internal struggles at critical historical moments changed the course of Hellenism.
