The book "The New Law on Parent-Child Relationships" includes a detailed presentation and article-by-article interpretation of Law 4800/2021 and particularly of the Civil Code, as amended.

The new regulations are presented in detail for:

• the legal residence of the minor

• the agreement for minor children in consensual divorce

• the rule of joint and equal exercise of parental care after the parents' separation and its exceptions

• the special issues of custody (decisions on health and education matters, change of the minor's residence)

• the child's communication with the parent and with other persons

• the improper exercise of parental care

At the same time, procedural issues and timeless legal matters are addressed. The author, a Professor of Civil Law at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, was a rapporteur on the issues of exercising parental care and communication in the legislative committee of the Ministry of Justice, on which the Law 4800/2021 was based, while having actively participated in the public scientific dialogue preceding the law.
