Aris Xindaras was born in Athens and has published many books related to sports, including the book by Mimis Domazos, "Mimis Domazos, Secrets and Other Revelations." All of his publications have great commercial success.
He is the innovator and the first to create a 5x5 football field in Greece. He fought hard to establish mini football in Greece since 1983. He wanted the previously known vacant lot to be transformed into a 5x5 field, and it is noteworthy that in the early years of the 5x5 creation, many commented strangely, "look at what the man did to save money..".
Interestingly, at the beginning, the schedule could not be established because there was one field, and a championship was being held with 400 teams. As a result, in order to create the schedule, matches were held on a 24-hour basis. This led to residents filing lawsuits with the Prosecutor's Office for disturbance of the peace, but no one was ever convicted because no court believed that there were more than ten people playing football in the early morning hours. In fact, they said, "one can be crazy, but the other ten cannot be...".
In 1997, he rented the entire stadium of Panathinaikos on Alexandras Avenue and for 4 years, along with Juan Ramon Rocha, transformed it into the biggest attraction for athletes of all ages in Athens. For this current publication about the Wembley epic, he closely experienced many stories with the veterans and after 50 years believes that the book is a complete publication of this historical anniversary.
