Prefilter for connection with pumps or external filters
The sera PrefiX Filter allows increasing the filter volume of a connected filter by up to 1.6 liters with two filter baskets that can be used.
The non-motorized filter is suitable as a prefilter in case of turbidity, as a quick filter in case of pollution, or as a biofilter for extending the filter capacity of small external filters.
The filter can be connected to a pump or an external filter via a 16/22mm hose. It is also possible to connect multiple PrefiX filters in series. In the case of fine-grained filtering, it is recommended to use the sera filter media bags 1 or 2.
