The Power Electronics PT422-8 time relay introduces an adjustable 1–60 sec delay before the relay activates, starting from when the supply voltage is applied. It is used in automation systems, including for starting asynchronous three-phase motors in star-delta panels. The relay energizes after the set time has elapsed and remains energized while the supply voltage is present.
