Purchased from a very well-known technology store in Stournari, Athens two months ago and used only for charging. The employee did not tell us that the specific model they recommended based on the features we wanted was very noisy. We bought it and it sounded like a microwave oven while previous ones we had based on experience were silent. We sent it back for service after weeks of communication and phone support, but no problem was found as they later told us over the phone "of course it would be noisy, the watts are too many" (!) in a store with technology items where the employees are renowned for their expertise. Our UPS is useless as it made a lot of noise. Not suitable for a small house.

    Excessive noise!!!
I couldn't stand it for even a day and I'm trying to return it.

I spoke with the dealership, and they told me that this is how this product is; there is no way to reduce its noise.

*The company's website says it is 1800w, not 2400w.

It was installed in a machine room and a 1100w pressure pump was connected to it. The purpose was to avoid air entering the circuit when there are minor power interruptions and a tap is open. It works perfectly and lasts longer than I expected based on calculations.

*After 9 months the batteries completely failed.
I will take the risk and replace them with branded ones, it needs 4 (7.2A-12V).
Even though after removing the outer case (8 screws) I thought it would be easy, internally you also need to remove the metal part that holds the batteries in place (6 screws). You also need a short Phillips screwdriver because the space is limited. Even then, the batteries just barely come out, so since I don't move the UPS, I'm thinking of not putting the internal metal back, just sticking the batteries together with double-sided tape, like APC does.

The only positive thing I can find is its huge battery and its good price. However, it's not worth it and I'll explain why. The on-off button in the front doesn't turn the UPS on and off as it should, but it turns the outlets in the back on and off. So, when you want to turn it off, you have to unplug it! The fan in the back never stops, ever. If it was silent, I could tolerate all of this, but it's the opposite. With the noise it makes, it could only be used in a factory. I contacted the dealership in Thessaloniki and the technician simply admitted that this is how the model was designed. I wanted to make sure that I didn't get a defective one, because someone else wrote that it's silent. I returned it!
