The Alcad CA-360 headend amplifier amplifies and combines signals from UHF, VHF and FM antennas, while its built-in filter rejects LTE700/800 signals. It is used as a headend amplifier in medium-sized terrestrial TV installations and has two outputs for distributing the signal in a star topology via splitters. Power is automatically supplied to the preamplifier.
The housing is made of ABS plastic, and the internal chassis is made of ZAMAK alloy. The F-type connectors can be screwed on or crimped, ensuring high shielding and minimal mismatch. The power supply unit is isolated from the rest of the high-frequency circuitry.
