I bought these shoes a few months ago and after about 300 km, let me give my opinion.
First of all, I only use them for running. I wear them for training and don't wear them again until the next session. Also, it's my first time using Untraboost. The overall impression I have of the shoes is very good to excellent (in some aspects).
During the first runs (50-100 km), I was somewhat surprised by the foot strike, the hardness in the sole, and the overall fit of the shoe. It was probably just a matter of getting used to the foot strike. After the first 100 km, my feet felt great. Yes, they have an amazing grip on the foot. It's truly impressive! It feels like wearing socks. My son wore the shoes (4 sizes smaller) and they fit his foot perfectly too! It feels tight, but it's the feeling of a perfect fit, something you get used to after a few workouts and I dare say you like it! The sole will get tired and slightly sore during half-marathon distances. You don't notice anything up to 10-15 km. The ventilation is very good. I completed a half-marathon in Crete with a temperature of 30 degrees and my socks were sweaty, but not excessively. As for the cushioning, which I was very interested in (I suffer from shin splints), I can't say it's at the level I expected. Definitely not as much as classic cushioning shoes (HOKA). However, since I started running with the Ultraboost, I haven't had any shin splint issues, but maybe it's because I wear knee sleeves on long runs and on both knees... maybe the shoes helped too! Finally, I want to comment on the classic shallow toe box (narrow space for the big toe), which is a topic of discussion for these Adidas shoes. Indeed, you feel the toe constantly touching (sometimes visible). However, it's not something that bothers you as the area where it touches is very soft. Also, there doesn't seem to be any signs of wear and tear as the construction material seems very good! Time will tell, of course! But what's certain is that it doesn't bother during running.
In conclusion, I am satisfied with the shoes. I would buy them again!

Update
Now, after 8 months and approximately 550 km, I'm coming back for another comment to confirm the quality of the shoe.
Here's what I have to say:
- 550 km of running, all on asphalt, and the shoes show no signs of wear, neither on the sole nor in general. Their appearance remains excellent.
- The narrow space for the big toe, something that concerned me before buying the shoes, is now something I don't even notice exists. It's obviously a matter of habit!
- I now run 10-12 km per training session and my shin splints have never bothered me since I started using these shoes. I no longer use knee sleeves either. I don't know if my problem was solved by the shoes, I'm just mentioning it :)
- I don't feel any difference in foot strike after 550 km. It remains the same as the first day of use.
Conclusion: I have fallen in love with the shoe, I haven't regretted buying it for a single moment, and it's very likely that I will replace it with the next model in this series!
Αγόρασα πριν μερικούς μήνες τα συγκεκριμένα παπούτσια και μετά από 300 χλμ περίπου ας πω την γνώμη μου.
Καταρχήν τα χρησιμοποιώ μόνο για τρέξιμο. Κάνω την προπόνηση και δεν τα φοράω ξανά έως την επόμενη. Επίσης 1η φορά χρησιμοποιώ Untraboost. Η γενική εντύπωση που έχω για τα παπούτσια είναι από πολύ καλή έως άριστη (σε κάποια στοιχεία).
Στα πρώτα τρεξίματα (50-100 χλμ) παραξενεύτηκα κάπως με μετο πάτημα, την σκληρότητα στο πέλμα και το γενικό πιάσιμοτου ποδιού. Μάλλον ήταν μέχρι να συνηθίσω το πάτημα. Μετά τα πρώτα 100 χλμ χοντρικά τα πόδια πετάνε. Ναι έχει φοβερό κράτημα στο πόδι. Εντυπωσιακό θα πω! Πραγματικά σαν κάλτσα. Το παπούτσι το φόρεσε ο γιός μου (4 νούμερα μικρότερο πόδι) και πάλι το έπιασε καλά το πόδι!! Νιώθεις να σε στενεύει, αλλά είναι η αίσθηση του τέλειου πιασήματος ποδιού κάτι που μετά από μερικές προπονήσεις συνηθίζεις και τολμώ να πω ότι σου αρέσει! Το πέλμα θα κουραστεί και θα πονέσει ελαφρώς σε αποστάσεις της τάξεως ημιμαραθωνίου. Μέχρι 10-15 χλμ δεν καταλαβαίνεις τίποτα. Ο αερισμός πολύ καλός. Ολοκλήρωσα ημιμαραθώνιο στην Κρήτη με 30 βαθμούς θερμοκρασία και οι κάλτσες είχαν ιδρώσει άλλά όχι υπερβολικά. Στο θέμα cushioning που πολύ με ενδιέφερε (υποφέρω από λαγοκνημιαία ταινία) δεν μπορώ να πω ότι είναι στο επίπεδο που περίμενα. Σίγουρα όχι όσο τα κλασσικά cushioning shoes (ΗΟΚΑ). Βέβαια από τότε που τρέχω με τα Ultraboost δεν είχα ξανά ενόχληση της λαγοκνημιαίας άλλα ίσως επειδή στα long runs φοράω επιγονατίδες και στα 2 γόνατα... ίσως όμως να βοήθησαν και τα παπούτρια! Τέλος να σχολιάσω το κλασσικό shallow toe box (στενός χώρος για το μεγάλο δάχτυλο) το οποίο αποτελεί θέμα συζήτησης αυτών των παπουτσιών της Adidas. Όντος νιώθεις το δάχτυλο να ακουμπάει συνεχώς πάνω (φαίνεται ενίοτε). Δεν είναι όμως κάτι που ενοχλεί καθώς είναι πολύ μαλακό το μέρος όπου ακουμπάει. Επίσης δεν δείχνει ότι θα επέλθει φθορά σύντομα καθώς το υλικό κατασκευής δείχνει πολύ καλό! Θα δείξει ο χρόνος βέβαια! Αλλά αυτό που είναι σίγουρο είναι ότι δεν ενοχλεί στο τρέξιμο.
Συμπερασματικά λοιπόν είμαι ικανοποιημένος με τα παπούτσια. Θα τα αγόραζα ξανά!

Πλέον μετά από 8 μήνες και 550 χλμ περίπου επανέρχομαι για ένα ακόμα σχόλιο ώστε να επιβεβαιώσω την ποιότητα του παπουτσιού.
Έχουμε και λέμε:
- 550 χλμ τρέξιμο όλα σε άσφαλτο και τα παπούτσι δεν έχει την παραμικρή φθορά, ούτε στην σόλα από κάτω αλλά και ούτε γενικά. Η εικόνα του παραμένει άριστη.
- Ο στενός χώρος για το μεγάλο δάχτυλο, κάτι που με είχε προβληματίσει πριν αγοράσω τα παπούτσια, πλέον ούτε που το καταλαβαίνω ότι υφίσταται. Συνήθεια είναι προφανώς!
- Τρέχω πλέον 10-12 χλμ ανά προπόνηση και η λαγοκνημιαία ταινία δεν με έχει ενοχλήσει ποτέ από όταν άρχισα να χρησιμοποιώ τα παπούτσια αυτά. Πλέον δεν χρησιμοποιώ και επιγονατίδες. Δεν ξέρω αν το πρόβλημα μου λύθηκε από τα παπούτσια, απλά το αναφέρω :)
- Δεν νιώθω κάποια διαφορά στο πάτημα μετά από 550 χλμ. Παραμένει όπως την πρώτη ημέρα χρήσης.
Συμπέρασμα: Έχω αγαπήσει το παπούτσι, δεν το έχω μετανοιώσει ούτε μία στιγμή που το αγόρασα και πολύ πιθανό να το αντικαταστήσω με το επόμενο μοντέλο της σειράς αυτής!
