The Tunze Comline DOC Skimmer 9001 is designed for use in marine aquariums from 20 to 140 liters. Its design makes it suitable for use inside the main aquarium, when there is no sump. It is recommended for use in small aquariums such as the WATERBOX CUBE 10, CUBE 20, PENINSULA MINI 15, and PENINSULA MINI 25.

It operates according to the TUNZE flash skimming principle, where water enters through surface skimming, removing the protein film that forms on the water's surface. The TUNZE skimmer produces large volumes of fine air bubbles with a diameter between 0.1 and 0.3 mm and is particularly quiet during operation. The Comline DOC Skimmer is supported by magnets, suitable for glass thicknesses up to 12 mm. The silicone bases prevent the transfer of vibrations to the aquarium glass.
