The Tunze Comline DOC Skimmer 9004 is designed for use in marine aquariums ranging from 60 to 250 liters. Its design makes it suitable for use within the main aquarium when no sump is available. It operates according to the TUNZE flash skimming principle, where water enters by pulling from the surface, removing the protein film that forms on the water's surface. The TUNZE Foamer produces large volumes of fine air bubbles with a diameter between 0.1 and 0.3 mm and is particularly quiet during operation. The Comline DOC Skimmer is supported by magnets suitable for glass thickness up to 12 mm. The silicone bases prevent vibration transfer to the aquarium glass.
