Description

Anemones are plants with few cultivation requirements. If you plant them in a garden, choose an area with good lighting. Their soil should be fertile and well-drained. They may need well-drained soil to prevent rotting, but they also require frequent watering in spring to have a longer flowering period. Plant the tubers in autumn, at a depth of 2-3 centimeters and spaced 15 centimeters apart. Since it is almost impossible to distinguish which side of the anemone tuber is up or down, a practical tip is to plant them vertically. Also, anemone tubers need to soak in water for about an hour before planting. This helps their shoots to sprout more easily.
