If you want a simple and fast HDD case / docking station ..this is it.
It's cheap, it's fast, you can change the disk very easily, you can use it without the top cover (like a docking station) and wit has an actual switch-button (not a push-button) which is very good if you change disks constantly.

No drivers needed. Works on Windows and Linux out-of-the-box.

I installed a larger hard drive than it supposedly supports (18TB) and it works just fine. If it also explained how the copy button works, etc., it would be better

Very good and economical, you can turn any internal hard drive into an external one. The required power cables are included and the transformer is internal, so you just plug it in, connect the USB, and you see it immediately.

For its price, it is excellent. I liked that the power supply is built-in. I did not use the automatic backup function and I have no opinion on it. I deducted one star for the quality of the plastic and because the plastic cover that closes the hard drive has no lock. If you open and close it often, in the end it will open by itself.

After 2-3 days of use, it stopped reading the hard drive! 2 TB wasted? I don't know. I'm trying, so as not to be unfair to the manufacturer, maybe the disk was to blame, which is unlikely for a Western Digital. But I'll see.

It does its job very well. Although I was initially afraid that the hard drive might burn out or stop working, it seems that with this device the connection between the hard drive and the computer is made safely. The device connects to the power and has an on/off switch. Before disconnecting the device from the computer, I select "safely remove device" and thus disconnect it from the computer.
