The ceramic aluminum oxide offers characteristics of a durable, dense, and resilient backing due to its microstructure. The extremely fine particles break down during sanding, creating new sharp edges. Since the ceramic aluminum oxide remains sharp, especially under medium and high pressures, it cuts at a higher rate than other backings. It ensures very aggressive cutting and a fine finish. The higher load resistance means longer product life. Available in various grit options.
