Tested on PVC φ16/φ25. Strong for straight lines, but struggles quickly with couplings and right angles as it is flat. It's more convenient if you cut the hook. Also negative is that it is conductive being metallic. It requires careful winding and good maintenance with WD40 to wrap easily on its reel. In my opinion, polyester is a thousand times better and you can rest easy.
