      The tool is fine if you know where to use it. Designed for "light" tasks. Drilling on a ladder, on the ceiling, and in spots where the SDS 18V series doesn't fit or is a hassle to handle. It drills a bit off-center (wobbles) with large bits, but the same happens with the 18V DCH172N/DCH263 that I have used. Unfortunately, the 12V 5ah battery is a one-way street if you want to use it extensively since the conventional 12V 3ah doesn't last for many drilling sessions. I pass a 16x115mm concrete anchor with this in normal times. It can't be compared to the 18V SDS in power, although personally, I have used it entirely on a job that isn't its own and it has managed to get the job done. In conclusion, if you buy it thinking it will replace its bigger battery or corded SDS siblings, don't even consider the expense. It will disappoint you. It is a specific-use rotary hammer, which being compact and very handy in the hand is very convenient - comfortable, and that's what you pay for.
