I bought the device in order to be able to use the mpm 1000 on my computer and I can say it does the job without any problems. A useful piece of information is that the device operates with 5V 1A (5 watts), meaning it can be powered by a USB computer without any issues for anyone who wants to buy the USB version and doesn't need an extra power outlet (I didn't know this, that's why I bought this version instead of the USB one, but presumably I can connect it to the computer with a USB to DC plug adapter of the same diameter)

Very good and economical! The solution for your condenser microphone if your mixer/sound card does not have phantom power.

I am the owner for about 3 weeks, I combined it with a BM-800 and from the first moment you can tell the difference. Without Phantom directly to the audio jack on the PC, it had a lot of noise and you had to boost it from the windows and play with noise suppression in the software for mediocre results... With Phantom, simply the microphone at 100% with a 10% boost from windows is very good and reaches the quality of larger microphones of 100-150 euros... As a device, it is not heavy, it has rubber underneath (I have placed it under my monitor and it holds up well because the weight of the cables lifts it up). I hope this particular one will last a long time because so far it seems very compact and convenient for a channel without too many extras.
