The Proacoustics Polyfon MB sound-absorbing panel is mounted on the microphone stand and acts as an acoustic filter during recording. The polyurethane foam with its textured surface primarily absorbs mid and high frequencies, reducing reverberation, echo and external noise without excessively colouring the sound signal.
