Very nice game! Easy rules! The only downside is the high price. It would be great if it was around 30-35 euros!

The game is played in rounds. Each player always has a hand of three cards and a personal board that represents the five "holds" of their ship, where goods can be loaded during the game. Each round, a player is designated as the "captain," with the next player clockwise being the captain in the next round, and so on. The captain rolls two standard D6 dice, examines their cards, and then announces which die corresponds to the "day" and which to the "night." Then, each player simultaneously chooses a card from their hand and places it face down in front of them. Each card has two symbols on it, one on the left - corresponding to the "day" - and one on the right ("night"). The symbols indicate either the movement of the ship (forward or backward) or the loading of a type of goods. After each player chooses a card, all cards are revealed simultaneously, and then resolved clockwise, starting with the captain. When it is a player's turn to play their card, they first play the left symbol on their card and then the right one. The player will either load the corresponding number of goods from the card they were dealt or move their ship equal to the number of pips shown on the corresponding day or night. Thus, the main decision each player makes during the game is which of their current three cards would serve them best in a specific round, given the values of the day and night dice. Finally, during the race, when a player lands on a spot that is already occupied by another player, a battle occurs. Battles are primarily resolved by rolling a "battle" die, but players can improve their chances by using "gunpowder" tokens from their containers if they loaded any in previous rounds. The winner of a battle can steal some goods or treasure from the defeated player.

The game ends when at least one player's ship reaches the finish line, completing a circuit around the island of Jamaica. At that point, players receive different amounts of gold depending on how far they were from the finish line when the race was completed. This gold is added to any gold a player collected along the way by bypassing the race to search for valuable treasure, stealing gold or treasure from other players, or simply loading gold as indicated by the cards they played during the race. The player with the highest total gold acquired through all these means is then declared the winner.
