"The play Whole House, Bed, and Church deals with the position of women, the sexual slavery of women. It was first performed in Milan, at the Palazzina Liberty, in 1977, to support the fight of the feminist movement.
Subsequently, the play was presented throughout almost all of Italy: performances were organized by feminist groups and their proceeds were used for the needs of the movement; in occupied factories, for repairing the roof of the "Women's House" on Via del Governo Vecchio in Rome, for establishing counseling centers, etc.
We also took it abroad: in Europe, South and North America. For example, in Frankfurt, the performance was held to raise funds for defending Italians detained in Germany. This text has been performed and continues to be performed in many countries. Unfortunately, the position of women is, more or less, the same everywhere. How many times has the performance been repeated? More than three thousand."
