Care for cast iron cookware:

  • After washing, dry the cookware immediately with a cloth or paper towel.
  • Coat the entire surface of the cookware with vegetable oil.

General usage/maintenance instructions for Cookware:

  • Before the first use, clean the cookware with water and soap.
  • Boil a small amount of water, let it cool, and then dry it thoroughly.
  • Coat the non-stick surface with olive oil.
  • Avoid using "spray oil" to prevent damage to the non-stick properties.
  • Use on low or medium heat, not exceeding 280° C.
  • Avoid cooking fatty foods that burn and blacken.
  • Use wooden, plastic, or silicone cooking utensils.
  • Store the cookware carefully to maintain the non-stick coating.
  • Do not use cookware with plastic handles in the oven.
  • Check the handles before use.
  • Hand washing with a sponge and liquid dish detergent is recommended.

    It cooks meat incredibly well, reaches temperature and doesn't drop it no matter what!

    Like every cast iron, it needs special handling to avoid rust..

    Personally, I only cook meat without any acidic sauce and I NEVER wash it with soap under any circumstances.

    For cleaning, I use a wire scrubber and each time I re-season it with olive oil. This may not be the best method, but it has worked just fine for me for the two months I've had it.
