Accurate measurement depends on the sensor’s contact with the body and the time required for the measurement site.

• Oral (≈ 1 minute): Avoid hot or cold food and drinks for 10 minutes beforehand. Place the sensor under the tongue, to the left or right of the base, ensuring good contact. Keep your mouth closed and breathe through your nose. 
• Rectal (≈ 1 minute): Use a suitable sensor cover and lubricant. Carefully insert the sensor about 2–3 cm, without applying pressure. 
• Armpit (at least 5 minutes): The armpit must be dry. Place the sensor in the center of the armpit, in direct contact with the skin, and hold your arm firmly against your body. 

Important: For armpit measurements, allow at least 5 minutes, regardless of the audible signal.
