The Proteas Filter UF PRO 01 water filter system sits on the kitchen countertop and connects directly to the faucet. It includes an adapter for switching between filtered water and mains water, as well as the connection fittings. It comes with a coconut activated carbon filter and a 0.1 μm ultrafiltration membrane, comprising four stages.

The first two polypropylene stages, 10 μm and 5 μm, act as a pre-filter and trap sediment. The third stage, a 1 μm coconut activated carbon filter, traps chlorine and improves the taste and odor of the water. The 0.1 μm antimicrobial ultrafiltration membrane traps bacteria and cysts without removing essential trace minerals.
