Herbstore spearmint essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of the Mentha spicata plant. It has a fresh, cool aroma with notes of cumin and is 100% edible. It is produced in Greece, in the region of Imathia, from cultivated spearmint.

It dissolves in alcohol, vegetable oils, and essential oils, but is almost insoluble in water. It blends well with grapefruit, lavender, rosemary, lemon, and basil. Do not apply directly to the skin or use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
