Review this product
  • The subject is presented clearly, eloquently and simply. At the same time, it is extremely detailed. It covers all aspects of the public and private lives of the ancients. The book is a reference on the subject. It is based on ancient writers. It has an excellent and extensive bibliography, around 400 references and all relevant ancient Greek books. It would be worth translating into other languages. Very suitable as a gift.

Absolutely tragic in the worst sense. Incredible misinformation and tons of baseless theories. The authors' outdated views are evident, as well as completely unethical. The bibliography is severely lacking in many subjects, where it seems that the inspiration and theories of the authors come solely from their own minds.

I couldn't finish reading it, and I didn't even read many chapters as I discovered that the topics that interested me were extremely poorly written.
