The Pentek P1 polypropylene replacement filter is ideal for retaining suspended particles (dirt, sand, rust, sediment, micro-particles, etc.).

It is the basic and usually first-stage filter we use in every installation as it frees us from the solid particles in the water, such as sand and rust, also serving as a pre-stage for the filtration of micro-particles.

It is made from 100% pure polypropylene fibers. The fibers are carefully spun together to form a truly solid surface. It does not impart taste, odor, or color to the filtered water when used within the recommended temperature range.

Additionally, the polypropylene construction provides superior chemical resistance and is not prone to bacteria. The density of the filters is achieved by fusing many fibers into a solid matrix.

The filter is non-toxic and absolutely suitable for drinking water.
