The handle is a bit thin in smaller sizes, but I just wrap them with masking tape or leukotape and thicken them as much as I want. Even if someone has Kolinsky brushes for watercolors, this one in size 3 is the perfect brush for details because it maintains a finer tip than natural hair brushes and has excellent spring. In conclusion, it is the best mixed media brush in the category of very affordable brushes. You would have to spend a lot more money to get something better. I recently also got the flat version (Milan 323 series) with the same wooden handle, but the bristles seem even better. I was amazed by this one too, as even brushes that cost 60 euros from Da Vinci, Escoda, etc. don't have bristles as perfectly shaped or as sharp a tip!
