• Use: Tool designed for installing and tightening the strap and clasp style of the tightening strap on power steering rack and pinion system boots.
• Function: The straps are installed onto the tool and tightened by rotating the handle.
• Tools: Use a 1/2” socket or wrench or hand to complete the strap until the required tension is achieved.
Cutting: When the clamp is tightened to specifications, the built-in cutter cuts the assembly with a strike of the tool's lever.
• Ease: Easily removed by sliding sideways after the assembly is tightened.
• Length: 230 millimeters.
