The Manfrotto 504X video fluid head with flat base incorporates an open bridge design that provides stable and smooth performance while reducing weight. The head's patented bridge technology offers a wider surface and larger sliding plate for increased stability and balance. The head features a flat base with a female 3/8"-16 mounting thread that allows compatibility with a wide range of tripods, monopods, sliders, jibs, and dollies, as well as a variety of rigs.

With its ability to support a payload of up to 12 kg, the 504X can be used with a variety of video cameras, photographic cameras, and rigs. The pan and tilt counterbalance system has four presets 0 – 2.1 – 4.5 – 6.5 kg, delivering the right balance regardless of the camera's size or weight.
