    Economical yes, tragically slow no... and this is my third printer with ECOTANK. In terms of savings, there is no competition, but the printing and scanning speed is unacceptable if someone wants it for professional use. It is slower than the previous ones I had (L1110, L130). If you print 10 pages a day, then it's manageable, but on the other hand, if you're going to use it so little, why spend so much money to get such a machine? And especially with manual front-back printing...

    L.E. It is a great printer if you want to use it for printing pictures and many other stuff. 5 stars out of 5 for print quality . The down side is that it has no settings for borderless printing (except 10x15 cm size prints) so the prints on A4 size, for example, will be shrinked when printing.

    Because the printer is not able to print borderless (except for 10x15 cm paper size), all the prints are redimesioned automatically when printing. So I have to make math before every print on A4 or other dimensions. In the pictures, with green colour it can be seen how a A4 is redimentioned (the green border should be right at the margins of the paper). The square should be 10x10 cm, too. But, if you are looking for a printer for printing pictures (10x15cm), this is a good one to do this job. Also, I can confirm that it prints on 250 GSM cardboard. It says it can go up to 300 GSM, just waiting for my cardboard to arrive so I can test in on 300 GSM, too.
