Description

Description

Through this book, the reader can gain significant insights into Indian Astrology, which is completely different from Western Astrology, as it includes a multitude of techniques with many variations.

In general, the main characteristics of Indian Astrology are accuracy and categoricalness, and it is not oriented so much towards the psychological aspects of Astrology but rather towards the facts.

This book analyzes the different zodiac systems used in Western and Indian Astrology, with the redefinition of the zodiacal position of each planet and point being done using a mathematical quantity known as Ayanamsa, which determines the deviation between the tropical and stellar zodiac.

It also discusses the differences between Indian (Vedic) and Western (Tropical) Astrology, such as the "titles" of the planets, the famous exaltation and debilitation, the use of the 7 traditional planets, the lunar nodes, the North and South Nodes, the significance of the Moon, the planets and the houses, the planets that are compatible with each house, known as Karakas, the system for assessing the dynamics of a planet, the ascendant with its friendly and hostile planets, the friendship and enmity of the planets, the 28 lunar houses, the "burden of Mars," the aspects, the significance of the houses, the "planetary periods," and more.

All these topics addressed in this work constitute more than just a simple introduction to the immensely important field of Indian Astrology, which has been developed in the most scientific manner by a pioneering expert in the science of Astrology, Dr. Christos Paisis.
