    Today I laid a 12.5sqm room with a 4mm thick screed. I started with (fortunately only) 2 bags of Durostick D-64 and due to the lack of the product in local stores (Volos), I discovered this one here and needed another 6 bags.

    Compared to D-64:
    - It works and spreads much better, and the material is finer
    - It dries (much) faster
    - One bag of this (23kg) covers more or less the same square meters as D-64 (25kg) - with minimal deviations
    - The price of Mapei is clearly better: with the same amount of money I spent on 2 bags of D-64 in local stores, I bought 3 bags of Mapei.

    The difference was noticed by the craftsman who laid them, with the scale clearly leaning towards Mapei
