It can reduce reverberation time and improve the acoustics and clarity of speech and music. It is made of polyurethane foam with self-extinguishing properties in accordance with FMVSS 302.

The panel is mounted on a wall with adhesive. The top of the T-profile can be covered with strips of acrylic, PLY wood, or HPL laminate.
