The Proacoustics Polyfon Kion sound-absorbing panel has a cylindrical shape inspired by the columns of ancient Greece. It consists of four quadrants that can be used together or as separate pieces. It is made of flexible polyurethane foam with a textured surface and cavities that enhance sound absorption. It reduces reverberation time, unwanted reflections, echo and standing waves.
The quadrants can be installed in wall and ceiling corners to absorb low frequencies. The panel can also be suspended from the ceiling or placed on the floor in its cylindrical form. It is designed for spaces such as recording studios, restaurants, bars, retail stores with high ceilings, sound testing rooms and home cinemas.
