Like most products and designs from little dutch, this set is beautifully made with attention to detail and seams, and it appears to be of good quality. The bird is about the size of a palm and doesn't have any special features other than being a plush toy. The teether is also a rattle with a very gentle sound and is easily gripped by the baby, although it doesn't particularly capture their interest. The major "downside" is the blanket, which was the reason I initially chose it. If you want to use it as a "security blanket," it simply cannot be done because the beautiful butterfly, otherwise, is made of fabric that makes a "crinkle" sound every time you touch it! I don't know how it can be used during sleep! However, it is the baby's favorite for the exact same reason - they like to crinkle and bite it, while the butterfly provides a good grip and handling for the baby. Another downside is the size of the muslin, which is a bit small, but that is a personal preference. In the end, I also bought an extra security blanket from another company - luckily, it was successful.
