Stay away from this particular camera!!!! It is not automatically detected by the network and when I tried to connect it manually, the announcement of the 4-digit code was in Chinese as English dialect is not supported. You can't understand anything. Unacceptable product. I threw it in the trash.

Very good camera. It also takes Micro SD for storage. The surveillance mode is not the best out there but it does the job. The magnetic base is very practical - which was the reason I chose this camera. The only negative is that due to the charging cable being located at the back of the camera, it limits the ability to adjust the viewing angle, so it necessarily has to face slightly downward. For this reason alone, I am taking off one star

Another great product from Xiaomi, the image quality is just great for the price ( I also have a 4K xiaomi and the 2K is on par with image quality ) , mounting it with the inbuilt magnet ( very strong ) is also handy. If you are looking for survalance cam ( I have it just ot monitor the dog when im not home ) that doesnt rotate ( its fixed angle ) then its exactly what you need! highly recommended.

Pretty good, I use them at home and in the shop for years without any problem. The only negative is the connection with the phone and the app; at some point when it connects to the phone, it asks you to enter the 4-digit code that is heard from the camera, but it says it in Chinese, and if you don't know Chinese, there's a problem. I searched the internet for Chinese numbers and listened and calculated which one might be heard. After much effort, you manage to get it!!!

After dealing with the Chinese, you'll need to find a priest to confess your sins with the curses you'll throw, after 128 attempts to connect logically. Yes, you'll manage, but only if you already have another Xiaomi camera and know the process to add it to the app. It works, but it has usability issues due to the base, and when the time comes to change your phone, you'll be banging your head against the wall for not sending it back... because you'll have to go through the torture of the Chinese again to change the device you'll be controlling. You won't do it. So, it's now useless. Spend an extra €10 and get a more user-friendly Xiaomi to get the job done... I have 5 of these, and it has frustrated me.

Review on the first day of use, so I will return with an update. Installation on the phone was immediate. I don't know if it helped that I have a Xiaomi phone. Image quality is amazing. Motion detection and recording to the cloud are flawless. Waiting for an update.

Good camera with good connectivity to the mobile app, but I had understood that it rotates and can monitor the area all around. Also, the double-sided adhesive didn't hold it for even a minute, and unfortunately, the package only contained 1 adhesive. Now I am forced to go buy another adhesive.

I had bought 3 cameras and while they were functioning normally for a while, Xiaomi changed their policy and in order to view the recordings you have to pay a monthly subscription; otherwise, the snapshots are only 9 seconds long even with a memory card. I do not trust this particular company again for any product, I replaced them with others from a well-known company with many positive reviews on this specific site and there are no such restrictions. Always read the reviews before purchasing Xiaomi products.

At first everything was fine. At some point I wanted to reset it and then everything went wrong. It records motion and sends a notification to my phone whenever it feels like it while I'm constantly walking in front of it to get it to record me. I can't understand what suddenly happened.

Just today, I received the camera.... It is amazing, very clear image with 2K resolution, small and lightweight, and it will be placed in the hallway of my house to cover the "gap" that existed until now!! I have the corresponding one with 1080P resolution which has been working outdoors for 2-3 years, winter and summer, and it hasn't had any issues.... So this one, which is for indoor use, is perfect!! I recommend it 100%, get it...!!

I have it inside a horse stable (it doesn't get wet) connected to a power bank that also powers a 4G modem router (TP-Link).

For the money, it's extremely good! Occasionally it gets stuck and doesn't show an image, but after about 3-5 minutes it unfreezes (maybe it's the 4G's fault).

The microphone/speaker sound is relatively okay. The image is very good for the money! The speed of the microSD is good! In terms of digital security, I WOULD NOT INSTALL IT INSIDE MY HOUSE.

Easy to install. Satisfactory image both day and night. Xiaomi's apps are quite good. It competes with "professional surveillance cameras". I already have 4 Xiaomi cameras for indoor and outdoor use. As an experience, I can say that I have 25 "professional surveillance cameras" in my businesses, but in terms of price-quality, I am much more satisfied with Xiaomi.

The camera is awesome!! Whatever problems they say about disconnection and disorientation are not true. The android must be responsible for the issues. The installation is done in less than a minute with the iPhone 13. I have been using the Xiaomi application for years with other cameras and devices, I just added this one. Don't think twice, it's worth every penny of its price

Nice little camera, the lens is too wide-angle but it focuses very well both close and far at the same time, the IR illuminates very well 7 meters away while it doesn't get blurry up close, the magnetic base is very convenient as you can hold it around wherever you want, it also has a metal adhesive disc to stick or screw it to the wall, however... During installation, when I had to enter the camera's barcode, I couldn't find it because the stars have it under the base which I had already installed, so I chose the manual method for it to give me 4 numbers. But here's the thing, whatever the camera says is in CHINESE!!! Luckily, the lady from the Chinese neighborhood gave me the solution after I ordered a fried chicken rice to ease the frustration. Have fun!

I have the previous one which is 1080p with microUSB and I am satisfied with both. In the app, you have to select the option that you are in China, but you can easily bypass it and it has improved its connectivity compared to before.

It is definitely better than many others.
Easy to install, instant wifi connection, and overall a camera that serves its purpose of purchase.
The only downside is its mobile application. It confuses you a bit at first, but once you learn it, everything goes smoothly.
I would gladly buy it again.

It has a recording file for about 20 days, then it does a rewrite. 2k resolution, the microphone is average. You will download the Xiaomi Home app on your mobile to control the camera's functions.
