This book is an effort to gather basic material for teaching the subject of Social and Professional Education (S.P.E.) in Special Education schools given the absence of school textbooks. It follows the Curriculum (C.) of S.P.E. of the EEEE but its material can also be used in other Special Education Units as basic or supplementary material.

The book is written in such a way as to meet the needs of all students with disabilities. The accompanying texts with corresponding images help in better understanding by them, while the deliberate choice of matching or True-False type exercises was made to overcome the potential difficulty of written expression on the part of the student. The main goal is to encourage the student to produce oral speech and understand the concepts under discussion.

Given that the subject of Social and Professional Education is an interdisciplinary subject, this book can be used by colleagues of various specialties related to the subject. It is encouraged to utilize this manual as close as possible to the needs and abilities of each student through the enrichment or further simplification of some exercises.
