The Twist 301 tracheostomy tube is made from soft, medical-grade polymer plastic (polyurethane), with thin walls. It is radiopaque and sterilized. A support strap made of special material and a record for the patient's file are included.

A tracheostomy tube is a special tube placed after opening the trachea (tracheostomy) to ventilate the patient, bypassing the upper respiratory tract. A tracheostomy can be performed urgently or scheduled in surgery. The tracheostomy can be temporary or permanent.
