Excellent microphone for amateur YouTube video use. Very good sound quality and noise isolation. So far, in the indoor space where I tested it, it sounds perfect. It connects to iPhone ONLY with the company's SC15 cable for lightning ports. On the computer, it can be connected with any type C to type C cable you have.

I haven't tried the VideoMicro microphone to see the difference, but just the fact that the Mic Go II provides you with USB connectivity makes it worth the money and then some. In terms of sound quality, it is very good. I use it on a camcorder and on my laptop. As for the foam "windshield": it doesn't do much in case of moderate/strong wind. While it does prevent the wind from coming into direct contact with the microphone and completely ruining the recording, it adds a lot of bass to the audio range, resulting in all the other sounds you want to hear (like voice or anything else) being covered up and the outcome being quite degraded. For those who know about audio editing, this bass can be "cut" quite effectively with an equalizer in any audio editing program, but obviously, all the other sounds will be affected too, so this isn't the perfect solution either. You will inevitably have to go for the actual windscreen from RODE for this specific microphone, the "WS-12" (you'll probably spend at least 30 bucks on it...) which I did because it's essential for me. Also, given that it doesn't have its own power supply (which is obviously very convenient), keep in mind that it drains battery from the device it is connected to.

The voice is a voiceover, meaning it was recorded after the video was shot, but I left the sound of the video playing simultaneously (it was necessary because I wanted both sounds to be heard). Very good microphone for its price. It can be connected to a DSLR via jack and to a smartphone via USB. There is also an application for the smartphone. The downside is that the USB cable is not included in the package.

5/5 stars. I use it either as a shotgun mic on the camera or on a boom. Excellent sound quality, to go for something better you would have to pay double the price. It's worth the price difference compared to the classic Rode VideoMicro.

Because I deal with sound, obviously it's not as good as the condenser ones I have, but it's a very good choice to connect it to my camera and not have to synchronize audio and video

An excellent microphone for the money. I use it professionally as an on-camera mic for audio backup. The build quality is quite good. The included shock mount does an exceptional job and no sound is heard from camera movements. One of its strong features is that with a type C cable, you can connect it directly to a laptop and use it for a zoom call or for voice over. It's a great value for money purchase and a significant upgrade compared to its predecessor (Rode Video Micro) which I have used extensively in the past

Very good microphone for its price. It can be connected to a DSLR via jack and to a smartphone via USB. There is also an application for the smartphone. The downside is that the USB cable is not included in the package.
Πολύ τίμιο μικρόφωνο για την τιμή του. Μπορεί να συνδεθεί και σε DSLR μέσω jack αλλά και σε smartphone μέσω usb. Για το το smartphjone υπάρχει και applcation. Το κακό ειναι πως δεν συμπεριλαμβάνεται το usb καλώδιο στην συσκευασία.
5/5 stars. I use it either as a shotgun mic on the camera or on a boom. Excellent sound quality, to go for something better you would have to pay double the price. It's worth the price difference compared to the classic Rode VideoMicro.

Because I deal with sound, obviously it's not as good as the condenser ones I have, but it's a very good choice to connect it to my camera and not have to synchronize audio and video

An excellent microphone for the money. I use it professionally as an on-camera mic for audio backup. The build quality is quite good. The included shock mount does an exceptional job and no sound is heard from camera movements. One of its strong features is that with a type C cable, you can connect it directly to a laptop and use it for a zoom call or for voice over. It's a great value for money purchase and a significant upgrade compared to its predecessor (Rode Video Micro) which I have used extensively in the past

Excellent microphone. Small, high-quality, and reliable, just as Rode has accustomed us to. It offers top-notch sound for its size and is ideal for use with both a camera and a computer, as it features a USB connection. The support base is sturdy and provides good shock absorption, while the metal base for the camera's flash mount adds extra durability and a professional feel. The only thing I would suggest as an essential addition is a wind protection cover for outdoor use, as it is not included in the package. It can easily be found at an affordable price, around €8, on Aliexpress. Overall, an excellent choice for those seeking portability and professional sound quality in a compact size.
Εξαιρετικό μικρόφωνο. Μικρό, ποιοτικό και αξιόπιστο, όπως μας έχει συνηθίσει η Rode. Προσφέρει κορυφαίο ήχο για το μέγεθός του και είναι ιδανικό για χρήση τόσο με κάμερα όσο και με υπολογιστή, καθώς διαθέτει σύνδεση USB. Η βάση στήριξης είναι στιβαρή και προσφέρει καλή απορρόφηση κραδασμών, ενώ η μεταλλική βάση για την υποδοχή φλας της κάμερας προσδίδει επιπλέον αντοχή και επαγγελματική αίσθηση. Το μόνο που θα πρότεινα ως απαραίτητη προσθήκη είναι ένα wind protection cover για χρήση σε εξωτερικούς χώρους, καθώς δεν περιλαμβάνεται στη συσκευασία. Excellent microphone for amateur YouTube video use. Very good sound quality and noise isolation. So far, in the indoor space where I tested it, it sounds perfect. It connects to iPhone ONLY with the company's SC15 cable for lightning ports. On the computer, it can be connected with any type C to type C cable you have.
Αριστο μικρόφωνο για ερασιτεχνική χρήση βίντεο YouTube. Πολύ καλή ποιότητα ηχου και απομόνωση θορύβων. Μέχρι στιγμής σε εσωτερικό χώρο που το δοκίμασα ακούγεται τέλεια. Συνδέεται σε iPhone ΜΟΝΟ με το καλώδιο της εταιρείας SC15 για υποδοχές lightning. Στον υπολογιστή μπορεί να συνδεθεί με οποιοδήποτε type c σε type c καλώδιο έχετε.
I haven't tried the VideoMicro microphone to see the difference, but just the fact that the Mic Go II provides you with USB connectivity makes it worth the money and then some. In terms of sound quality, it is very good. I use it on a camcorder and on my laptop. As for the foam "windshield": it doesn't do much in case of moderate/strong wind. While it does prevent the wind from coming into direct contact with the microphone and completely ruining the recording, it adds a lot of bass to the audio range, resulting in all the other sounds you want to hear (like voice or anything else) being covered up and the outcome being quite degraded. For those who know about audio editing, this bass can be "cut" quite effectively with an equalizer in any audio editing program, but obviously, all the other sounds will be affected too, so this isn't the perfect solution either. You will inevitably have to go for the actual windscreen from RODE for this specific microphone, the "WS-12" (you'll probably spend at least 30 bucks on it...) which I did because it's essential for me. Also, given that it doesn't have its own power supply (which is obviously very convenient), keep in mind that it drains battery from the device it is connected to.

The voice is a voiceover, meaning it was recorded after the video was shot, but I left the sound of the video playing simultaneously (it was necessary because I wanted both sounds to be heard). Δεν εχω δοκιμάσει το μικρόφωνο VideoMicro για να δω την διαφορά, αλλά και μόνο που το Mic Go II σου παρέχει σύνδεση USB, αξίζει τα λεφτά του και με το παραπάνω. Από άποψη ποιότητας ήχου είναι πολύ καλό. Το χρησιμοποιώ σε βιντεοκάμερα και στο λαπ τοπ. Όσον αφορά το αφρώδες «αντιανέμιο»: δεν κάνει δουλειά σε περίπτωση μέτριου/δυνατού ανέμου. Ναι μεν εμποδίζει τον ανεμο να ερθει σε αμεση επαφή με το μικρόφωνο και να καταστραφεί εντελώς η ηχογράφηση, αλλά δίνει πολλά μπάσα στο ηχητικό έυρος με αποτέλεσμα να καλύπτονται όλοι οι υπόλοιποι ήχοι που θελεις να ακούγονται (πχ φωνή ή οτιδήποτε άλλο) και να υποβαθμίζεται αρκετά το αποτέλεσμα. Για όσους γνωρίζουν απο επεξεργασία ήχου, τα μπάσα αυτά μπορούν να «κοπούν» αρκετά αποτελεσματικά με ενα equalizer σε οποιοδήποτε πρόγραμμα επεξεργασίας ήχου, αλλά προφανώς θα επηρεαστούν και όλοι οι υπόλοιποι ήχοι, οπότε αυτή δεν ειναι και η τέλεια λύση. Αναγκαστικά θα πας στο πραγματικό αντιανέμιο της RODE για το συγκεκριμενο μικρόφωνο, το "WS-12", (κανα 30άρι τουλάχιστον θα το δώσεις...) πράγμα το οποίο και έκανα γιατί μου ειναι απαραίτητο. Επίσης, δεδομένου ότι δεν έχει δικιά του τροφοδοσία (εννοείται πως ειναι φουλ βολικό αυτό), έχετε κατά νου ότι τρωει μπαταρία από την συσκευή στην οποία ειναι συνδεδεμένο.
