Drawing in Sacred Places
Author: Doug Patterson
The British architect and versatile painter, a Renaissance creator, depicts Sacred Sites from the three monotheistic religions, following in the footsteps of well-known pilgrims and travelers, such as Vasily Barski in Eastern Orthodoxy, Samuel Davis, and Hercules Brabazon, who visited Mount Athos, Bhutan, and India respectively.
In his exhibition of works, which is also published as his catalog, he primarily presents pieces from Mount Athos and some from Saint Catherine's Monastery in Sinai.
