Coming from Motospeed CK108 with black switches.
First of all, in terms of build quality, it feels very sturdy and quite heavy.
I got the version with aqua switches and because I've been using linear switches for 6 years, the small, almost imperceptible bump makes me feel strange. As for typing, it feels more accurate because you can feel when the switch registers, but for gaming, I haven't decided yet (I've only had it for a day, I will update the review in the future).
The RGB lighting is very powerful, so much so that I have it on the lowest setting to avoid being bothered when watching movies, etc., and the colors have satisfactory shades.
The software is mediocre. It has many available settings but also quite a few bugs.
Of course, after setting up macros assignments, etc., I simply closed it and haven't opened it again. I control all the RGB settings through openrgb and artemis2/aurora.
It has onboard memory for 3 profiles.
I would say that the lack of dedicated multimedia keys is a major drawback when spending so much money on a keyboard.

I was looking for a keyboard for 80% typing, 20% gaming. With brown switches: I wanted tactile so red-type switches didn't work for me, I didn't want noise so blue-type switches didn't work for me either. I wasn't interested in RGB, maybe just a simple backlight for the dark (I type quickly, but not blindly).

I ended up with the Ducky One 2 Skyline with Cherry MX brown switches, but the store canceled my order. The Coolermaster CK550 also seemed to be of poor quality.

So I saw the offer for the HyperX with the Aqua. I got it for around 75. Very heavy keyboard with a solid feel. And indeed, great brightness in the RGB. However, the software wasn't the most user-friendly. Quite a long cable and detachable (very important), but in the wrong position (right and not center). All of this is generally minor issues for me.

The feel is excellent for typing. I type at different rhythms compared to the simple Philips (God bless it) mechanical as well as with my son's Razer Ornata Chroma. The keys don't "play," the travel is very good. I would have liked the click/tactile feel to be a bit more pronounced. Anyway, my hands fly over it.

I hope it holds up in quality over time.

EDIT: I'm back 1.5 years later. Two issues:

1) Not very important perhaps, but it attracts dust like a magnet and it won't come off no matter what. I suppose it will come off with a blow from a gas station type blower. With a simple computer blower, forget it.

2) One key (the bottom left CTRL which I use particularly for typing/navigation) broke internally. The e-shop from where it was purchased refused to replace the key. Talking with HyperX, in less than 10 minutes, a replacement request was accepted. My surprise is indescribable when I received the package (shipped from Poland) it had not one, but the ENTIRE set of keys!!!!

In any case, I deduct one star from five due to the quality of the keys (my son's Razer Ornata Chroma is closing in on 4 years and still has no issues...).

EDIT 2: I'm sorry if I burned people with the review, because a bunch of keys have given up like the CTRL in 1.5 years. Unacceptable for the quality and cost. -2 stars for that.

Purchased at 77 euros, it is one of the best purchases one can make for a mechanical keyboard at the moment without having to pay a fortune, and it has features similar to much more expensive keyboards.

Pros:
Build quality: The first thing you notice when you hold it in your hands is that it is a very well-built keyboard, with a body entirely made of aluminum. Besides its durability and sturdy feel, it also helps with the way the key backlighting is distributed. Additionally, the cable is detachable and a braided cable is included in the package.
Key feel and sound: The Aqua switches are ideal for those who want a mechanical keyboard where you can feel when each key is pressed without the sound being bothersome. Also, the force required to press the keys is very low.
Size: It is exactly what you need if you want a keyboard that won't take up much space on your desk. Of course, it doesn't have dedicated media keys or a wrist rest included in the package, but these are things that anyone buying it already knows.
Backlighting: The backlighting is strong, uniform, and adjustable both in intensity and style. The characters on the keys are very clear.

Cons:
Software: In my case, it doesn't create a big problem, nor do I consider it even a minimal factor that would prevent me from buying this keyboard again. Specifically, it is still in beta and most likely gives a "false" incompatibility message with Gigabyte's RGB Fusion. To apply any setting, I have to first close RGBF, save the settings to one of the keyboard's 3 profiles, and then reactivate RGBF. Overall, it still needs some work, but it is fully functional at its current stage.

I don't have an opinion yet regarding its cleaning, but judging from its construction and design, there doesn't seem to be any difficulty.

Transitioning from the Logitech G413. There is quite a difference between the two keyboards and I believe the extra 30-40 euros that the HyperX costs are completely justified. Completely different feel, not that the Logitech was a bad keyboard but if I could go back in time, I wouldn't hesitate to spend the extra money. With these switches (HyperX aqua), I noticed a significant improvement in typing speed and overall more comfort while typing. The key feel is very nice. I have no complaints about the noise either. Sturdy and heavy construction. As for the software for the functions, they have done a good job there. Plenty of options, colors - patterns - combinations for the RGB and macros, I didn't notice any malfunctions but it can be a bit confusing the first time you explore it.

P.S. In general, I would recommend accompanying it, if possible, with a wrist rest. The key illumination is really strong, it can blind children, it made a tremendous impression on me. Luckily, you can adjust their intensity from the keyboard and the software.

I bought the model with aqua switches.
The first thing you will notice is the excellent and sturdy construction.
100% aluminum chassis, heavy, reminiscent of keyboards twice its price and maybe even better.
The keys are classic tactile, with a nice feel and low noise.
Ideal for both gaming and typing. I can say that I have increased my typing speed, while in games the response is immediate and comfortable.
Of course, if you want it exclusively for gaming, prefer the red switches.
The lighting is excellent and it also has three memory positions to save your favorite settings without the accompanying software. The cable is removable and covered with synthetic fabric.
Overall, the feeling you get is that of a sturdy, high-quality keyboard that ensures comfort and speed in its operation.
As for the drawbacks (which is why I didn't give it 5 stars), it's the software, NGENUITY, which has many problems and shortcomings, but HYPERX states that it is still in beta. How many years should pass, though, for a stable version to be released?
Also, as time goes by, there is a possibility that some keys may make a spring sound (ping) when they return after being pressed. It doesn't create a functional problem, but it may bother some people. I think it has to do with the way the spring sits inside the key, which is why it doesn't appear in all keys. However, if you search the internet, you will see that many keyboards have it, especially tactile ones.
In conclusion, it is a keyboard that should normally be worth twice as much, but HyperX kept it at an amazing price by removing some features (e.g. macro keys, USB extension, wrist rest). If you don't really need them (like in my case), then it is a value for money keyboard, perhaps unique in its price range.
I recommend buying the HyperX wrist rest as well, which I would say is necessary and also very high quality. I bought it together with the keyboard and found that I couldn't do without it.
