The automatic thermostat heats up slowly, and there is no way to increase the temperature if needed, for example, when using thicker batter. I received a faulty product where both parts were moving and the lid did not stick properly to the upper heating plate, requiring me to hold it down for proper cooking. I have attached some photos for reference. I do not recommend this product; it is inexpensive but poor quality.
