Purchased 2 days ago from a well-known chain at the price of €20 (it’s available at almost all stores) purely for testing as the comments I read from foreign networks are mostly negative. Let's start with the handle, very ergonomic with excellent grip I can say and a bit more comfortable than the Knipex (for my hand which has a relatively small wrist), soft to the touch with nice feedback when cutting thin wires and tie wraps. The cutter obviously compares with similar ones at €20 and not with something more expensive. Its jaws have a relatively small opening and to open it more you need to push it quite a bit (it doesn’t open all the way like the corresponding Knipex by itself). From this, it is clear that with intensive use, the opening will gradually increase and will not present extensive play issues in the future. Of course, for anyone who needs a significantly larger opening in the cutter, this one will not be suitable. The tool is made in PRC, but in hand and quality, it is obviously like made in Germany. LET'S NOT FORGET that most Bosch Professional (blue) tools are also made in China but of excellent quality. In conclusion, it is a good cutter for thin wires up to 6mm, i.e., tie wraps, wires, etc. If you need a larger opening to easily cut, for example, 3x1.5, choose something else. Try it alongside other cutters of the SAME price like Knipex, NWS, Gedore, Wiha, etc. Obviously, not all side cutters are meant for cutting screws and nails; they are intended for specific use.
