Description

Fast wide-angle zoom telephoto lens f/2.8. Create your own unique shots. With such a fast and versatile lens, you are always ready to respond to whatever is around you. From street scenes to landscapes and portraits, compose freely with the compact NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8.

Upgrade your creativity. Elevate your artistic expression with a lightweight zoom lens that delivers beautiful bokeh. Explore the creative possibilities of shallow depth of field or using higher shutter speeds with natural light. You can experiment with a range of classic focal lengths, while the constant f/2.8 aperture maintains consistent exposure across the entire zoom range.

Artistic bokeh. The large Z mount and the rounded f/2.8 9-blade aperture allow you to focus on your subject in front of beautifully smooth, natural bokeh. Create images with dramatic selective focus or take your portrait shots to a new level.

Always the right lighting. With its fast maximum aperture, this lens performs excellently using only available light. Capture clear, sharp images in low-light situations or use faster shutter speeds to freeze action without sacrificing brightness.

Try something new. The range from wide-angle to telephoto is ideal for exploring your framing options. Fit more of the scene at 28mm. Achieve incredible portraits at 75mm. You can also pursue dramatic perspectives by moving closer and filling the frame from high and low angles.

Get closer. The NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8 rewards you when you get close. The minimum focusing distance of just 0.19 m at 28 mm allows you to create close-ups with dramatic wide-angle perspectives. When shooting at 75 mm, you can make the most of the 0.39 m minimum focusing distance to isolate subject details. Bokeh is accentuated at closer distances, delivering impressive results.

Fast, reliable focusing. Focusing is smooth, silent, and perfectly sharp even during close-up shots. The fast autofocus system works in perfect sync with Nikon Z camera's eye-detection AF to keep focus exactly where you want it when taking portraits.

Video specialization. Add videos with outstanding image quality to your creative palette! Focus breathing is eliminated, allowing you to smoothly change focus while maintaining your framing. Smooth aperture control lets you capture beautiful, natural-looking changes in brightness.

See where it takes you. Play with framing. Play with motion. Play with depth of field. With its lightweight construction and sharp optics, the NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8 is an excellent everyday lens and a wonderfully creative partner.

Rich details. This fast-aperture zoom lens delivers greater sharp detail, richer colors, and reduced distortion even when shooting at the wide end of the focal length range.

Intuitive control. You can customize the smooth, clickless control ring to suit your shooting style. Use it for precise aperture control or to adjust aperture, ISO, or exposure compensation.

Ready to go anywhere. The NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8 is dust- and drip-resistant, with a coating that makes lens cleaning easier. From wide shots at ground level to urban landscapes on rainy days, don’t let anything hold you back.

Personally, I believe that it is not worth its money due to the quality of construction. The lens is generally good. HOWEVER, the ring that holds the hood and the cap broke. At first, I thought that the lens was faulty because it did not fall or get hit. They told me that it hit somewhere with the cap and caused the ring to break. For 900€, I find it unbelievable that a lens component would break so easily, especially considering that it would eventually undergo some minimal wear and tear over time

Very nice lens always in relation to the money you give. I haven't tried the 24-70 f2.8 but compared to the 24-70 f4s, I don't see any significant differences in image quality with the naked eye and normal zoom. Maybe it lacks a bit in terms of focus, which I would describe as slightly slower and lazier. Otherwise, I don't see a reason to use the 24-70 again, maybe because personally I don't miss the first 4mm while the one stop is often necessary for me. Also, when the 24-70 f4 opens up to function, it practically approaches the size of the 28-75. You put it on in the morning and unless you want to enter the dark, or do something very special, you never take it off...
