It is suitable for digital cameras, especially mirrorless or DSLR cameras without an infrared-blocking filter in front of the sensor.

The filter is made of Hoya glass and has an aluminum frame. It can be combined with colored contrast filters, such as R25, K2, and O, to change color rendition or contrast.
