The Hoya 4 ND filter reduces the amount of light reaching the camera without affecting color balance. It is used in bright conditions and allows slow shutter speeds to capture motion, such as waterfalls, clouds, cars, and seas.
It also allows the use of wide apertures for a shallower depth of field, as well as shooting bright scenes with video cameras that have a fixed shutter speed.
