The scam with this product is its weight, which is measured together with the glass jar, the lid, and the soybean oil. The net product does not exceed 200g. In terms of taste, it is just a simple mackerel can. I would not buy it again, I wouldn't even accept it as a gift.

Greetings to the tsipouro lovers. I'll start with the positives about this product: Overall, the quality is very good, the taste is nice (the fish is not too smoky), and the texture is also nice, without any bones, etc. I lightly grilled it on charcoal and we ate it with fresh, excellent extra virgin olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and dried red onions.

As for the negatives, in my opinion, it is a downside that it is in soybean oil instead of some sunflower oil, and that one fillet was above the oil level for a while, resulting in it slightly darkening.

I'm deducting only one star (I was considering deducting two) because ultimately it is very expensive, and let me explain:

I bought it for 7 euros, thinking that the price was good for the 510g that the sellers state. However, it turns out that this is the TOTAL weight of the entire packaging, which in my case was 498g. Out of this, 140g was the oil, 180g was the weight of the jar with the lid, and finally, the fish was only 180g! (see the photo I uploaded for proof). The jar contained only 2 pieces of mackerel fillet.

In short, the kilo for the drained fish came out to be around 38-39 euros...
