Its battery lasts quite a long time, and it has an automatic battery saving mode. If you don't use it for about 10 minutes, it will turn off by itself.
The pairing was quite easy, and I haven't encountered any difficulties so far.

I recently bought it because the original ones I had for 5 years started to drift. This particular one is the cheapest set of controllers for the switch (good), but (!): 1. it is excessively lightweight and its plastic is quite cheap. 2. although the handles are good for long gaming sessions, what they don't mention is that it takes some effort to put the switch back into the base and it BLOCKS the external USB port. 3. there is an annoying, very bright LED in the red part that occasionally flashes (probably from the Bluetooth). 4. Most importantly, it drifts (at least in my copy) and disconnects from time to time, and you HAVE to put it back in the slots to find it again.
Personal advice? Get something else or save money to buy original controllers.
