High school student Kei Nagai dies in a car accident, but immediately revives to discover that he may not be human at all. Instead, he may be a Demi-Human, a mysterious almost-immortal entity blessed with amazing supernatural abilities. Frightened, he runs away and is assisted in his escape from society by his friend Kai. Unfortunately for Kei, a manhunt is underway, and he will soon find himself caught in a conflict between humans and other Demi-Humans as they prepare to fight for global supremacy.
