The Trident Z5 DDR5 RAM is aimed at demanding computer users, such as gamers, professionals in video and image editing, designers, and those who require high performance from their computer.

DDR5

DDR5 is the fifth generation of RAM memory technology for computers. It replaces DDR4 and offers increased speeds and capacity.

It offers operating speeds from 3200MT/s to 12600MT/s, response time (CAS Latency) from CL 28 to CL 48, while its capacity has increased up to 64GB per memory module.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for response time (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have chosen.

The above characteristics must be compatible with the specifications of our motherboard.

The Trident Z5 provides speed at 6400MT/s, with CL32 and 16 GB per memory module.

Compatibility

The DDR5 technology is compatible with specific motherboards and processors. Indicatively, DDR5 is compatible with Alder Lake, Raptor Lake series processors, and the latest Intel processors, as well as AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors.

However, for compatibility with your motherboard, you need to ensure that your motherboard supports DDR5 technology from the manufacturer. Compatibility depends on the processor platform and the type of motherboard you are using.

XMP & EXPO

XMP & EXPO is a technology that allows us to increase the frequency and performance of our computer's memory without the need for manual adjustments. (XMP/ EXPO) is easily activated from the BIOS, is available on certain RAM memories, and is supported by certain motherboards.

    They do their job just fine. They are Hynix A-Die, so it's easy to overclock them to 7200Mhz C34 without touching the voltages. I also improved the subtimings and now I have only 53ns latency in AIDA64 (down from 63ns). In some games, I even got up to 10% more fps with the i5 13600KF (when I am CPU Limited, of course).
