The enrollment of students with a migratory background in schools raises, among other things, issues related to the development of pedagogical practices in a way that effectively responds to the diversity of conditions, needs, and learning interests.
The aim of this collective work is to contribute to the current discussion of these issues both through theoretical approaches and by presenting teaching interventions in the classroom.
In particular, the texts in the volume focus on the following topics:
- construction of the Other in teaching manuals and in children's literature
- language support for migrant students
- language teaching in intercultural schools
- utilization of different teaching methods aimed at promoting intercultural learning.
